RHA Training are uniquely placed to service the needs of SMEs in the Haulage Industry and others whose business requires the use of commercial goods vehicles.
Currently in our 10th year of operation, the majority of our customers have been firmly in that size bracket and we are well aware of the particular challenges such operators face.
Our services start with ensuring drivers are suitably equipped to ensure safe and proper use of goods vehicles as defined within the Operators licencing legislation.
Our newly relaunched range of Driver CPC products ensures employers can select from a choice of half day approved DCPC courses which can be matched together to create 7 hours or more of training which is relevant to their needs. Just select two Modules for each year’s training day.

Module 2. Digital Tachographs for Drivers
Module 3. Daily Walkround Checks and defect reporting
Module 4. Safe loading of Vehicles
Module 5. Health and Safety Awareness for Goods Vehicle Drivers
Module 6. Fuel Efficient Driving & safety on the Road
Module 7.Customer Care & Driver Security
Module 8. International Driving.
For those who require a more generic product we also continue to offer Professional Driver update 2011, a full 7 hour session.
Other DCPC courses have been written for specific customer’s needs and also for particular areas of operation, including Carriage of Livestock and Rescue and Recovery operations.
In cab Driver Development and Train the Trainer services for your In House training staff have also been approved for DCPC purposes in addition to the operational and cost benefits these courses can offer.
Managers have not been forgotten with Managing Your Operators licence and our National Freight CPC courses offering 7 hours and 35 hours of Driver CPC periodic Training respectively for those who have managerial responsibilities and a LGV licence to maintain at the same time.
Our recently launched 2 Day CPC refresher for busy Transport Managers who may have passed their National Freight CPC a long time ago or obtained theirs through acquired (Grandfather) rights is proving very popular.
We can also assist with the progression from driver to Manager with our management development courses including an introduction to management in the Transport industry and “Maximise your Profits” for those who want to learn some key differentiators between those who are busy and those who are successful.
A range of management services and support are available through RHA Training including Risk Assessments, Health and Safety consultancy and guidance and security assessments and training.
Whilst our web pages and annual prospectus set out our main areas of operation, much of what we do for customers is bespoke and so never gets seen in the general arena.
