Scottish Apprenticeship Week – Councillor congratulates successful RHA apprentices

A West Lothian councillor has presented certificates to two RHA colleagues who successfully passed their apprenticeships.

Cathy Muldoon, councillor for Fauldhouse and the Breich Valley ward, congratulated the successful apprentices during a tour of their RHA’s Bathgate site on Wednesday (9 March) to mark
Scottish Apprenticeship Week.

The apprentices –
Julija Aleksejeva and Oliver Kenny – joined the Association in 2021, offering business support to the growing Scotland & Northern Ireland training team.

They’ve undertaken a number of key administrative tasks as they’ve developed their skills and confidence in the workplace, and offered invaluable support to the team as they moved to Bathgate from their former premises in Livingston.

Julija and Oliver will continue their careers with the RHA as business support trainees now they’ve completed their apprenticeships. Two more apprentices will shortly join the team.

Brian Kenny, RHA Head of Training, Scotland & Northern Ireland said: “We are very proud of our two apprentices who have achieved so much in such trying times. Our links to the West Lothian Council area are well and truly routed in our investment in the new training centre at Bathgate.”
