RHA promotes accessibility, recruitment and Covid recovery as it launches its coach policy

22 Aug 2021 Posted By Josh Reynolds

The RHA launches its vision for a better future for the coach sector, today (Monday 23 August).

The policy which has been developed with RHA Coaches members focuses on driving change in six key areas: Covid recovery, the environment, accessibility, recruitment, image of the industry and road infrastructure.

RHA Chief Executive, Richard Burnett said the policy sets the agenda for the Association’s campaigns to secure the best deal for the industry.

“Coaches play a vital role in the transport sector but many operators feel they’re taken for granted and dismissed by government.

“They came to us because they needed a voice so we’ve worked together to articulate their concerns and set out a vision to support them through Covid recovery and beyond.

“Our coaches policy gives us a solid foundation to press government for positive change to help our sector thrive.”
