Online Operator Licence Awareness Training


Course Length: 1 Day Course Content: Three Modules: Access to the Market, Transport Social & Fiscal Law and Technical Standards & Road Safety.

Mode: Road Haulage and Passenger Transport sectors.

This course is ideal for senior managers and traffic office staff who do not hold the transport manager qualification nut need to be aware of the company operator licence and their obligations to it. It covers a wide variety of topics including transport law, the OCRS system, powers of enforcement officers and the consequences of non-compliance.

The course is aimed at those who are employed in either passenger transport or road haulage operations.

Course are run in classroom, online or can be arranged at your premises, you choose the best option for you. If you are based in Northern Ireland this course is the only one that DVA will accept as proof that an update has taken place.


This one-day course is designed for directors, managers, supervisors and anyone operating a transport business. No matter how big an operation you run, your O-licence is one of your most valuable assets and this course will ensure you are informed of all responsibilities, compliance and obligations of all staff (including drivers, operations staff and management). You will gain an enhanced understanding of transport law, the OCRS system, powers of enforcement and the consequence of non-compliance of any aspect of your business.
