Have your say on the future of UK customs

HMRC has launched a Call for Evidence on Customs Modernisation, seeking views from businesses on how customs processes can be improved to better support international trade.

The consultation is particularly relevant to operators involved in imports, exports and international movements.

The RHA is preparing an industry response and is inviting members to share their experiences with [email protected], helping us ensure members' views are represented. Businesses are also welcome to respond directly to HMRC: https://www.gov.uk/government/calls-for-evidence/customs-modernisation.

The consultation closes at 11.59pm on 15 September 2026.
