HGV drivers invited to take part in important road safety research

Loughborough University, on behalf of the Department for Transport, is inviting HGV drivers to complete a survey examining how Vulnerable Road User (VRU) detection systems perform in day-to-day operation.

The research will help inform the future development of international vehicle safety regulations and contribute to improving the effectiveness of these systems.

The survey is open to drivers who:

• Are aged 18 or over.
• Hold a C1 (including C1+E), C or C+E driving licence.
