The Education and Skills Funding Agency (EFSA) have announced that the Road Haulage Association has been successful in its application to become an End Point Assessment (EPA) organisation - one of only three in the UK.
Commenting, RHA deputy director of policy, Colin Snape said: “This will enable the RHA to assess the end of an apprenticeship for the new Large Goods Vehicle Driver Apprenticeship a new requirement for apprenticeships.
“We are now developing training and assessment material that can be used by members and other organisations and training providers.
“The RHA have been at the very forefront of the development of the New Trailblazer Apprenticeship Standards. This latest achievement will allow us to ensure the high standards required are met by those taking the LGV Driver Apprenticeship.”
