The Next Gen Group is a dynamic platform for young professionals that are RHA members, within the road haulage or coach industry to engage, share ideas, and contribute to the development of innovative solutions and policies that address the challenges and opportunities facing the industry.
The Next Gen Group aims to foster a sense of community, encourage professional development, and ensure the voices of younger members are heard & valued at all levels of the RHA.
The objectives of the Next Gen group are to:
- Identify and discuss key concerns/challenges facing younger professionals in the road haulage and coach industry.
- Propose innovative ideas to enhance industry practices, sustainability, and technology adoption.
- Make suggestions around the action to take on flexible work/working conditions.
- Facilitate networking, mentorship, and professional development opportunities for group members.
- Raise awareness and advocate for the interests of younger professionals within the industry through events and podcasts.
