Wellbeing

Wellbeing

Our people’s health, safety and wellbeing are at the heart of everything we do at RHA.

We believe wellbeing is a shared responsibility and are committed to creating an environment where everyone feels supported, safe, and able to thrive—both at work and beyond.

Some of our wellbeing initiatives involve:

Annual Health Assessments

We offer annual Health Assessments to all our employees, fully funded by RHA.

Delivered by experienced external health professionals, each assessment provides a supportive and confidential check-in on physical and mental wellbeing, including nutritional and lifestyle reviews.

Employee Assistance Programme (EAP)

Available 24/7, our EAP offers confidential support whenever extra help is needed.

Access to professional telephone support, face-to-face counselling, and expert advice on health, financial, and legal matters is available along with an online wellbeing portal with health and wellbeing tools and resources.

Family-related Leave

Family comes first. That's why we offer family-related leave with enhanced company pay, giving you the time and support to focus on what matters most.

Whether you're welcoming a new arrival or supporting loved ones, we're here to help you balance work and family life.

Flexible and Hybrid Working

We support flexible and hybrid working to help employees work in a way that suits them best, helping prioritise their wellbeing.

Whether that’s a mix of home and office working or flexible hours, we aim to support a healthy work–life balance wherever possible.

Health and Financial Protection

We fully cover the cost of Medicash and Private Medical Insurance (PMI) for employees, providing access to healthcare support when it’s needed most.

We also offer Income Protection and Life Assurance, giving added financial security, reassurance, and peace of mind for the future.

Menopause Support

We support employees experiencing menopause through a dedicated menopause policy and an open, supportive culture.

We have hosted menopause awareness sessions to increase understanding and provide guidance, and our managers are always available for
 support.

Wellbeing Conversations & Podcast

We actively support wellbeing conversations and promote an open culture where mental and physical health can be discussed openly.

From discussions with Arthur Ellis to podcasts with Andy’s Man Club, we keep wellbeing firmly on the agenda and encourage speaking up and seeking support.

Wellbeing Champions

We have a Wellbeing Champion team who are employees from across RHA that are passionate about supporting physical, mental and emotional wellbeing.

Trained with the support of Arthur Ellis, our Champions arrange wellbeing activities that encourage connection, balance, and open conversations.
