Armed Forces Covenant - On the 23rd October 2018 the RHA signed the Armed Forces Covenant at the Ministry of Defence in Whitehall.

The Armed Forces Covenant is a pledge to ensure that those who serve or who have served in the Armed Forces, and their families, are treated fairly. More information about the Covenant can be found https://www.armedforcescovenant.gov.uk/

In summer 2020 we were awarded the Silver ERS (Employer Recognition Scheme) award which is in recognition of our ongoing work and continued commitment to supporting the recruitment of the armed forces community and their families.

The Employer Recognition Scheme is an award which is publicly recognised by the MOD of an employer’s efforts to pledge, demonstrate or advocate support to the Armed Forces community.

The RHA actively advertises all vacancies with Careers Transition Partnership (CTP), VETS and Forces Families Jobs.

As part of our pledge we committed to guaranteed interviews for those within the Armed Forces community who have skillsets which are aligned to the vacant role.

Our HR policies are Armed Forces friendly as we support Reservist’s training by providing additional leave.
