Since 1 January 2021 customs declarations between the EU and GB apply to freight moving in both directions. As the trade association for road transport operators, the RHA has been working with government, pressuring them for a solution to this customs problem that works for our industry.
By bringing together the expertise of our policy department, the experience of the many customs procedures and the knowledge gained from serving the haulage and logistics for over 75 years, the Association’s latest initiative, the RHA Customs Brokerage, will deliver a programme of operational guidance and the practical customs solutions that we know the industry needs.
