Scottish SME hauliers running under 100 vehicles can once again benefit from Transport Scotland's SME Fleet Analysis Support Scheme. Through the scheme, participating data consultants can access up to £15,000 of funding to undertake a detailed fleet analysis on behalf of eligible operators, helping businesses explore vehicle technologies, infrastructure requirements and potential routes to zero emission.
The previous scheme supported the analysis of more than 750 vehicles across Scotland, giving operators valuable insight into fleet replacement planning, infrastructure needs and future investment decisions.
For many businesses, understanding what the transition means in practice is the first step. The scheme offers operators access to specialist support, helping them assess opportunities and challenges specific to their fleet before making major commitments.
To reduce the administrative burden participating data consultants now manage the funding application and grant process on behalf of eligible fleet operators.
