Introducing RHA Vans

Introducing RHA Vans

31 Aug 2021 Posted By Josh Reynolds

The UK transport and logistics industry has always been diverse and the past 18 months has seen the sector face more challenges and undergo more changes since Rudolf Diesel built his first diesel engine in 1893.

Launched at the beginning of the year, RHA Coaches is already going from strength to strength, and so is our other exciting membership initiative, RHA Vans.

Commenting, RHA md for commercial affairs, Richard Smith said: “Many of our members operate vans as well as trucks. Representing their entire fleets seemed the obvious next step to make sure that our members get a complete care package. They work tremendously hard and we want to take away as many headaches as we can. For example, their vans as well as their trucks are covered by RHA Conditions of Carriage.

As part of our industry-leading best practice, we work with our members to set and maintain the standards the wider industry wants. Our compliance, audit and help desk services are available to assist them and their businesses at every stage.

Leading change for the sector – we have close links to government and a policy team devoted to influencing government, linking industry to decision-makers, and shaping the future of the sector both nationally and locally. We have a strong track record in ensuring that the voice of our members is heard by policy makers.

With over 76 years of driving business on our roads, the RHA has unrivalled experience in the road transport and logistics sector and, as an RHA member, operators will gain access to our expertise and a wide range of exclusive services at discounted member rates.

Come and see us at the 2021 Commercial Vehicle Show at the NEC - we’ll have our team of experts on hand from each of the sectors we represent – trucks, coaches, and vans.

To find out more about the RHA, including its coach and van sector benefits, come and visit us on Stand 5D20 where on Tuesday, 31 August, we will be launching the RHA Van Policy document – another sector first.
