RHA launches brand new ADR courses

If you’re in the business of transporting dangerous goods by road or by vehicles on ships, read on and find out about our brand-new range of specialist ADR courses. All courses are approved for Driver CPC by the Joint Unit for Periodic Training (JAUPT).

Moving dangerous goods by road is governed by international law and is strictly policed. As the only trade association dedicated solely to the road haulage industry, the RHA’s courses have been designed to ensure that your road transport operation is fully compliant and in line with requirements set by The European Agreement Concerning the International Carriage of Dangerous Goods by Road (ADR).

New ADR courses

ADR 01
This course is ideal as an initial introduction or as a refresher course for drivers who carry dangerous goods in packages and hazard classes 2,3,4,5,6,8 and 9 (referred to as all classes). Please note that class 1 (explosives) and class 7 (radioactive) are not covered.

Includes 14 hours Driver CPC!

ADR 02
If you are required to carry dangerous goods by road in packages and tanks with all classes, this is the course to sign up for. It can be used as both an initial introduction or as a refresher course.

Includes 21 hours Driver CPC!

ADR 03
This course has been specifically designed for drivers required to transport Flammable Liquids in Tanks only (Fuel Tanker Drivers).

Includes 14 hours Driver CPC!

ADR 04
If you carry Flammable Liquids in Tanks (Fuel Tanker Drivers) but already possess a valid ADR certificate with the same entitlement, valid for at least 6 months, then this course will cover your requirements.

Includes 7 hours Driver CPC!

These new ADR courses will be delivered by the RHA’s own team of highly qualified training managers, all of whom have hands-on experience as drivers and transport managers. They have first-hand experience in the challenges faced by drivers and can adapt the course material to suit the individual needs of your transport operation.
