As the Net Zero agenda gathers pace, have your say on the issues you face on reducing CO2 emissions from your fleet.
We're working closely with academic researchers from the Centre of Sustainable Road Freight, based at Cambridge University, to help understand the scale and complexity of the issues that lie ahead to decarbonise the HGV fleet.
This important work will feed into the considerations that all of us (haulier, Government and other stakeholder) will need to consider as we chart the way forwards to meet the target of Net Zero by 2050.
The survey seeks specific views on the challenges arising from Brexit and Covid, as well as the enablers and barriers to improving fuel efficiency and decarbonising HGVs fleets. This includes issues of fleet replacement, investment in vehicle technologies and changes to logistics operations to bring about greater fuel efficiency in the road freight industry. We are especially keen to receive responses from micro and small businesses, including self-employed contractors.
Your experience and opinions will help the development of future tools and guidance tailored specifically to the needs of small, medium and large businesses. Please can you respond by Friday 29th October.

This questionnaire will take approximately 25-30 mins to complete.
All responses will be will be treated as strictly confidential and aggregated for analytical purposes. All participants will receive a final report summarising the results of the survey and will get free access to any future tools developed over the course of this research.
