Jason brings more than three decades of experience in the travel, engineering and coach sectors. His career began with 13 years at British Airways and GE as an aircraft engineer, before spending over two decades helping to lead the award-winning family business, Edwards Coaches. In 2023, he launched his own venture – Jason Edwards Travel – with the vision of delivering trusted, affordable coach holidays built on a lifetime of industry knowledge.
A well-known figure in the coach and tourism community, Jason has supported numerous industry causes, judged major awards, and spoken regularly at sector events. He also served as High Sheriff of Mid Glamorgan, underlining his deep roots and active leadership within Wales. In 2024, he added to his credentials by achieving his CPC qualification as an International Transport Manager (PSV).
His appointment to the RHA Board brings a fresh perspective from the coach sector, along with additional invaluable insight into the needs of Welsh operators and the wider tourism and passenger transport landscape.
