RHA launches Coaching Ahead manifesto to support the future of the coach industry

The Road Haulage Association has today launched Coaching Ahead, a new manifesto setting out the key actions needed to support a thriving and sustainable coach industry.

The document outlines five priority areas where Government can help unlock the sector's potential:

• Skills and workforce development

• Planning for coaches

• Decarbonisation and Net Zero

• Accessibility

• International competitiveness and border operations

The manifesto recognises the significant contribution coaches make to communities, tourism, education and economic growth while highlighting the challenges operators continue to face.

Richard Smith, Managing Director of the RHA, said:
