RHA launches guide to getting funding for training

The RHA has launched a guide to help firms choose the right training and associated funding.

The RHA Skills Funding Guide sets out options for operators across the UK to help them understand what works best for them.

It features advice on apprenticeships, traineeships, bootcamps, recruitment incentive support, regional government funding, and more.

Richard Smith, RHA Managing Director, said: “Ensuring people are skilled and have the right training is key to a productive workforce. There are lots of ways firms can get funding for training but it’s often difficult to navigate what’s available.

“This is why we’ve produced a guide which will help operators better understand what options they have, and how to access them.”

The Association is working with local government to bring more people into the industry. It has a successful partnership with Peterborough College, with funding from the Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Combined Authority to help new drivers through training.
