Keeping your fleet of vehicles moving is crucial to a successful business. The Rescue service from The Road Haulage Association is a comprehensive, nationwide rescue and recovery service for our members.
Managed by Lantern Recovery Specialists plc, Rescue services from The Road Haulage Association keeps your vehicles on the move 24/7/365, at specially discounted rates. There’s no need to pay up-front, simply register and open an account. It’s a pay-as-you-go service, so if you don’t break down, you don’t pay anything.
Rescue caters for all vehicles that you or your staff own or operate throughout the UK and continental Europe. One call to our designated Rescue call centre and the team will dispatch or arrange for a mechanic or recovery vehicle to attend your vehicle, or for workshop services or supplies to get you going again. We aim to have a specialist with you within the hour, and will keep you fully informed of progress.
Don’t have a breakdown just because your truck does!
By displaying the “Owner’s Choice” stickers provided to you on registration to Rescue, the Highways Agency and Police will not take action to remove your vehicle in the event of incident unless Rescue cannot attend within a required ETA. This is because Lantern Recovery is a recognised and respected commercial vehicle recovery operator and they have managed to secure a Hot Key for the Highways Agency directly into the Rescue call centre.
A service for members, by members
Recovery agents who are members of RHA Recovery are given first call on incidents in their area, so if your vehicle breaks down, you’ll probably find a fellow member has come to your rescue. If your vehicle cannot be repaired, Rescue can undertake the recovery to a destination of your choice or to a local workshop for repairs.
If you’re a recovery operator, just download the Rescue Agent application form from the link at the bottom of the page.
