New rules for HGVs of over 12 tonne gross weight operating in London are coming in October and we need to understand how this is going to affect you.

Transport for London is introducing its ‘Progressive Safe System’ for lorries rated below three stars but there’s widespread concerns about the timescales they’ve imposed amid doubts that the required kit will be available, and the practical and affordability challenges firms face to fit it.

Many hauliers say they don’t think they can be compliant in time.

It's vital we hear from as many operators as possible so I would ask you to add your voice through our survey before next Friday (23 February).

This will help us build the strongest case to secure changes to help you comply with new rules in the capital. It closes next Friday (23 February): https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/RHA-DVS-0124

We are also running a webinar on Tuesday (20 February at 2pm) where we will update operators on the collaborative work we’re doing with trade associations and others in the industry – and how we’re lobbying London officials on behalf of affected businesses.
