Initial ADR Packages, Tanks and Classes Course
Course Length: 5 Days
This course is for those who will carry dangerous goods both packages and in tankers. The course lasts for 5-days and covers the core, packages, classes, and tanks elements. Moving dangerous goods by road is governed by international law and is strictly policed.
Our Dangerous Goods courses have been designed to ensure that you are qualified in line with the requirements contained in the European Agreement Concerning the International Carriage of Dangerous Goods by Road (ADR). Candidates will complete practical assessment in emergency actions, First Aid, and basic firefighting. Drivers will be examined in core, packages, tankers and hazard classes 2,3,4,5,6,8 and 9 (referred to as all classes).
Exams and assessments are conducted during the training with results issued at the end of the course.
During the guided learning sessions there are opportunities to complete stage tests and learning activity that will enhance your understanding of the subject matter.
Materials are supplied for each candidate for use on the course and as a handy reference guide afterwards. These are either downloaded from our online training platform or given directly to the candidates. .
All courses are subject to an Exam fee this will be calculated at time of booking, this course has six exams and each exam is £20, exams are exempt VAT.
This course is designed for company’s who require to train Drivers, or individuals who require initial training on the above modules relating to the transportation of Dangerous Goods by Road transport. The course is designed for those who currently do not hold an ADR Certificate, or those with certificates that have expired. Part of the course requires elements of practical training to be conducted, this includes First Aid, Fire Extinguisher Training, and basic Emergency Actions.
