- Conditions of Carriage: The RHA Conditions of Carriage are recognised as the industry standard and are copyrighted for the exclusive use of RHA members. The RHA Conditions of Carriage are designed to clearly define the legal relationship between the carrier and the customer. Amongst other things, the RHA Conditions of Carriage set out the responsibilities of all parties involved in the movement of the goods, state time limits for claims and specify the liabilities for loss, mis-delivery or damage. Hauliers who fail to properly incorporate Conditions of Carriage into their relationship with their customers could be held responsible under Common Law for the full value of the load being carried and for any losses arising from damaged delivery.
