Operator Compliance Risk Score: Have your say

Operator Compliance Risk Score: Have your say

05 Oct 2022 Posted By James Evison

The RHA recently met a member who had its OCRS score downgraded due to an error made by a maintenance provider during an MOT.

For background, OCRS is the Operator Compliance Risk Score system, which DVSA use to decide which vehicles should be inspected.

From operators we have spoken to, the cause of frustration is the DVSA has no say over the maintenance providers.

Therefore the onus goes onto the operators – many of whom are third party providers not present on-site.

Please respond to the questions below and send answers to: [email protected].

Should third party maintenance providers be held accountable on OCRS for MOT failures? Why do you believe that?

Give an example of maintenance issues that have affected your OCRS score as a result of a third party maintenance provider
