Operator Compliance Risk Score: Have your say

The RHA recently met a member who had its OCRS score downgraded due to an error made by a maintenance provider during an MOT.

For background, OCRS is the Operator Compliance Risk Score system, which DVSA use to decide which vehicles should be inspected.

From operators we have spoken to, the cause of frustration is the DVSA has no say over the maintenance providers.

Therefore the onus goes onto the operators – many of whom are third party providers not present on-site.
