A huge thank you to everyone who joined us at the Road Haulage Association (RHA) Parliamentary Reception last night. It was a fantastic evening and a powerful show of support for our industry.
We were grateful to hear from Moreton Cullimore, RHA Chairman, Keir Mather MP, Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State at the Department for Transport, and Rachel Taylor MP, Chair of the APPG for Freight and Logistics. Their contributions, alongside the conversations taking place across the room, showed just how important these issues are.
What stood out most was the energy and engagement from members, parliamentarians and stakeholders alike. People made a real effort to attend, to listen, and to back our call for change.
The message is simple: driver welfare is critical national infrastructure. Without safe, secure places to stop and decent roadside facilities, we cannot deliver safer roads, stronger supply chains or a more resilient economy.
Thank you again to everyone who came and helped make the evening such a success.
