RHA Chairperson Moreton Cullimore launched National Lorry Week 2024 today (4 November) at Stroud Brewery.
The launch, hosted by Howard Tenens, promoted haulage as an industry rich with opportunity for people looking for careers.
Policy lead Sally Gilson outlined how logistics careers are vital to the UK and how supporting upskilling and training can bring a wealth of benefits.
CWD Logistics Director and chair of the RHA Next Gen Group Jayson Churn outlined how with support from industry and Government, the sector can be full of opportunity for young people like himself.
This year’s National Lorry Week highlights skills, careers and opportunities in the industry and the vital role haulage plays in delivering economic growth.
National Lorry Week is visiting members, industry partners and colleges to emphasise the significance of the industry and the incredible people keeping supply chains moving across the UK.
