The Met Office has issued a red weather warning and asks road users in Northern Ireland and parts of Scotland to refrain from travel where possible due to wind speeds of up to 100mph until 5pm today.
Strong winds from Storm Eowyn have caused dangerous conditions, flying debris and widespread disruption resulting in several road closures including parts of the A75 and M8. Please find the full list of closures and delays here:

A yellow weather warning for snow has also been issued for parts of northern Scotland until 23:59 today.
