There is a glut of Association and industry news and information in our first issue of 2025. We feature details from the Association’s Annual Cost Report and news of the Association’s engagement with members over trade concerns in Northern Ireland. We cover RHA parliamentary events in Edinburgh and Westminster, and there is the launch of a major new policy document on the future of the strategic road network.
We also publish the first in a fresh series of articles focussing on the concerns of international hauliers. There are updates on the work of the Abnormal Loads Group, and news from the RHA Coach section. We also feature important update on ADR and important news from the OTC and DVSA.
Our long form features this month investigate the issue of part loads and empty running, the continued enthusiasm for HVO, and the mental health. We also mark February’s National Apprenticeship Week.
There are also details of a new RHA service to haulier members: the RHA Exchange, driven by HaulageHub, which offers a secure digital market place for work and loads.
