UK Coach Rally returns to Blackpool for landmark 70th year

Few events capture the heritage and pride of the coach sector quite like the UK Coach Rally.

Now in its 70th year, the Rally returns to Blackpool on 18–19 April, bringing together operators from across the UK to showcase the professionalism, skill and standards that define the industry.

The Grand Hotel will serve as the event’s headquarters across the weekend, providing a central hub for competitors, partners and attendees.

On Saturday morning, competitors will take part in a 50-mile road rally through the Lancashire countryside, followed by afternoon driving tests that highlight the precision and expertise required in modern coach operations.

The day will conclude with a Gala Dinner at the Grand Hotel — an opportunity to come together and celebrate the people behind the industry, and the pride they take in what they do.

Across the weekend, the Rally will also feature coach displays along Blackpool’s seafront, judging, and an awards presentation recognising excellence across the sector.

Alongside the Rally, a trade exhibition will bring together suppliers and industry partners, offering opportunities to connect, share insight and explore the future of coach transport.

The RHA team will be present throughout the weekend, engaging with members and the wider coach community.
