London’s Direct Vision Standard (DVS) is changing – FAQ for operators

New safety standards for HGVs operating in the capital are due in October 2024.

Transport for London (TfL) is launching its Progressive Safe System (PSS) which will replace the current Safe System.

We have produced an FAQ which explains what this means for hauliers operating in London.

There are still some outstanding issues which we’re seeking clarity on from TfL.

We will update you when we have more information.
