An RHA operations manager has been nominated for an industry award.

Paula Boland, the RHA’s northern region operations manager, is on the shortlist for Rising Star in the Trade Association Forum (TAF) awards tonight in London (Thursday 22 February).

She was nominated for her effectiveness, respect, and support of the RHA over the past 12 months.

Phil Snowden, RHA Membership Director applauded Paula’s quick adaption to hosting webinars, public speaking, and leadership.

Paula, who was recently promoted said: “I am deeply honoured and grateful to have been nominated for this award. Although I’ve been working within the transport industry with a background in operational roles, I am only three years into my RHA journey.

“I have been blown away by the wonderful comments I have received since it was announced. I hope to continue to strive for excellence and contribute towards the industry’s growth and success,” the former area manager added.

The TAF Awards set out to recognise, reward, and promote best practice among trade associations in the UK. RHA Managing Director and TAF Chair Richard Smith will be providing the opening speech for the evening.
