Tachograph Rule Change Enforcement and Implications for Operators

Tachograph Rule Change Enforcement and Implications for Operators

Significant changes to the tachograph rules were introduced in 2020 and the DVSA has changed its approach and has been enforcing these changes since January 2022.  These changes are probably the biggest change to the tachograph record keeping requirements in the past 40 years. Alarmingly however, they have been the subject of very little publicity and no official guidance.

We understand that the DVSA is now starting to enforce the changes. Our 2.5 hour e-training course will examine the rule changes in detail and the implications in terms of record keeping.  It is our belief that around 99% of operators and drivers will not be complying with the new rules and as such, this e-training course is essential for ALL transport managers and senior managers of operators who operate under the EU Tachograph Rules.
