This course is designed to train or refresh Material Controllers who classify, identify, package, mark, and label (including containers and tanks) and document shipments of Dangerous Goods for Sea Freight, this will also include elements of security.
The course is an intense 2 days, with students being taught / refreshed on how to navigate their way through the IMDG Code. Included in the training student will also be expected to participate in various written and practical exercises, which will assist them in being successful on the final exam on the 2nd day of the course. Candidates who attend the 3-day Dangerous Goods by Air, can add this course to give them both certifications.
