Emergency First Aid at Work
Course Length: 1 Day
Course Content: 1 Module: Emergency First Aid in the Workplace.
Aimed at individuals that require a first aid qualification to reinforce the number of qualified individuals per site, this course is particularly useful for those who work away from base, for example, sales staff, drivers, or those who work across large site areas. Upon completion, delegates will be awarded the SQA Level 2 in Emergency First Aid at Work Certificate. This recognised qualification in First Aid and designed to give the individual the capability to conduct a number of first aid procedures which satisfies the HSE’s requirements for training in first aid in the workplace.

First Aid at Work
Course Length: 1 Day
Course Content: 2 Modules: Recognition and Management of Illnesses and Injury in the Workplace.
Ideal for anyone wishing to become an accredited first aider in the workplace, particularly where it has been identified subsequent to risk assessment that a trained first aider is recommended.
The First Aid at Work training syllabus covers:
- Understand the role and responsibilities of the first aider
- Recording and reporting of accidents and incidents including RIDDOR
- Discussion of specific work-related injuries
- Contents of a first aid kit (including preventing cross infection)
- Assessing the situation and acting safely, effectively, and promptly in an emergency
Following final assessment, successful attendees will receive a First Aid at Work certificate approved by the awarding body which is valid for three years.
Mental Health First Aid Training
Course Length: 1 Day
Course Content: 1 Module: Recognition of Mental Health.
Statistics show that approximately one in four people will experience a mental health problem each year. By attending this one-day course, you can become a Mental Health First Aid Champion. The course will enable you to: identify early warning signs of mental health issues; give tips on how to build a mentally healthy workplace; and how to support colleagues.

By attending this course, delegates will be able to become a Mental Health First Aider.
This course covers mental health issues and how they affect the workplace in much greater depth. It also includes elements such as: depression, its symptoms and how to provide support; treatment and resources for anxiety disorders; and how to build support resources within the organisation.
