Modules: Prepare for winter driving and control the vehicle in adverse weather.
The winter driving course has been designed to help drivers stay safe and recognise the different pressures added when driving during the winter months. Our weather is known for its unpredictability and this can have an adverse effect when driving for a living, snow, rain, floods, and low sun all pose their own risks and drivers have to be prepared for them all. Drivers can expect to learn the factors that pose the largest risk and how to deal with them, how to keep informed and what to do if there is an emergency.
