DVSA announce changes to annual heavy vehicle testing

14 Mar 2024 Posted By RHA Policy

The Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA) has announced changes to annual heavy vehicle testing which will come into effect next month.

From Monday 29 April, DVSA will no longer be automatically issuing paper certificates for all HGV/PSV vehicles that have passed the annual test. Operators will instead be encouraged to view their pass certificates online.

Paper pass certificates can be requested, but will no longer be issued by default. Paper certificates for failed tests will still be automatically issued.

We will keep you informed of any further updates.
