M25 to close this weekend - diversion in place

07 Mar 2024 Posted By Joe Scotting

The M25 will be partially closed for roadworks this weekend.

Junctions 10 and 11 in Surrey will shut in both directions until from 9pm Friday 15 March until 6am Monday 18 March.

A diversion route has been shared by National Highways that doubles the distance to travel between Junction 10 at Wisley and Junction 11 at Chertsey.

You can find detailed information on the diversion route HERE.

We urge hauliers and coach operators to plan their journeys well ahead to avoid congestion when they're moving people and goods. National Highways has urged motorists to “only travel if necessary”.

This closure to allow for bridge demolition and the installation of a new gantry as part of ongoing £317 million improvement works.

More information on the roadworks can be found HERE.
