RHA proud to support Neurodiversity Celebration Week

We are proud to support Neurodiversity Celebration Week 2024 18-24 March.

The initiative aims to help organisations recognise the many talents and advantages of having neurodivergent employees and how to best support them.

Neurodiversity Celebration Week has a schedule of free-to-attend webinars taking place throughout the week. Talks include best practice for neurodiverse professionals, ways organisations can support employees, Q&A sessions, and more.

You can see the schedule HERE.

A recent Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Survey that we conducted found that 12.3% of RHA employees class themselves as neurodivergent.

Clare Murphy, RHA HR Business Partner said “This week is all about recognising those who think differently. Depending on how our brains are wired we think, process information, and communicate in different ways.

“Approximately 15-20% of the population has a neurological difference. We all should take a balanced view of an individual’s unique strengths and challenges.

“The transport industry is a great sector for neurodivergent people. Taking part in Neurodiversity Celebration Week’s webinars is a great opportunity for businesses to create more inclusive and equitable work cultures while recognising the many talents and advantages of neurodiversity.”
