Border Force Release Coach Clandestine Checklist

Border Force has updated practices and released a new checklist designed for securing coaches from clandestine entry when returning to the UK.

The RHA has been working with UK Border Force on the new checklist written specifically for coaches. The new form will assist drivers record checks for signs of migrant activity on journeys back into the UK.

The RHA publishes guidance for operators and drivers which is available to members in the Coach Operations Manual.

Commercial vehicle operators face fines of up to £10,000 per stowaway caught on their vehicles by Border Force.

Businesses have been able to avoid fines by signing up to the Civil Entrant Civil Penalty Scheme. More information can be found HERE.
