Our National Lorry Week roadshow got underway today this week (Monday 21 October) where our key account manager, Martin Dean began his journey across the four nations to publicise the campaign.
He's behind the wheel of our National Lorry Week branded truck taking in members’ premises, sponsors’ venues, and colleges.
He began at Michelin in Stoke-on-Trent before going to Crumlin in Northern Ireland. He will be at a number of events in Scotland for the rest of the week before continuing into England and Wales, ending on 8 November in Northampton.
We’re also bringing our state-of-the-art driving simulator to a number of the venues to show would-be-drivers what it’s like to get behind the wheel of an HGV.
What is National Lorry Week?
National Lorry Week is our annual celebration of our industry and its people; it’s our campaign to showcase the vital role the trucks, drivers and our industry as a whole plays in our lives.
We are focusing on skills and promoting our industry as an aspirational career choice.
It takes place between 4-8 November.
