The Road Haulage Association (RHA) has today presented significant donations to two of its charity partners at the 2025 Commercial Vehicle Show at Birmingham's NEC.

RHA Chairman Moreton Cullimore handed over a cheque for £27,500 to Caroline Barber from Transaid, an international development charity that improves lives in developing countries by making transport more available, affordable and sustainable.

The RHA has supported Transaid since 2015, with members raising significant funds each year since.

In a separate presentation, RHA Vice Chair Tim Wray presented a cheque for nearly £70,000 to Jim French MBE from the RHA Benevolent Fund. The Benevolent Fund is a charity that helps people connected to the road transport industry who face hardship due to illness, age, bereavement and other difficulties.

Both presentations took place during a busy second day of the UK's largest road freight, transport and distribution event, with industry delegates attending from across the country.
