Thanks to everyone who joined our informative and well attended webinar this afternoon on navigating the complexities of the Windsor Framework.
My thanks also to John Lucy and Richard Bartlett for leading the session and sharing their expert insight and analysis throughout.
As the implementation of remaining Windsor Framework regulations for GB to NI goods movement comes into full effect on 1 May, it's vital that we as an industry are prepared and it's key that we continue to engage on this important topic to share our insights.
Our session today focused primarily on practical solutions to the known customs challenges faced by businesses, anticipating future potential issues and looking at strategies to navigate various processes effectively.
We all know the difficulties around compliance, and with the evolution of these regulations in recent years, it's important to stay on top of what's required now, and what's coming next. Today we covered essential areas including up to date documentation, managing costs and regulations, having clear conversations with HMRC and TSS and keeping pace with evolving rules and timelines. In particular, we looked at the UK Internal Market System (UKIMS) and what to expect as of May.
At the heart of all of these conversations is keeping businesses moving and ensuring the supply chain remains fluid.

Our engagement will continue with HMRC, NIO and officials across Government ahead of 1 May. As we have done from the very outset, we'll continue to highlight the key challenges hauliers face — and we’re urging decision-makers to address the broader issue of managing any further divergence that’s likely to develop over time.
We will have further sessions ahead in this area and as ever, I'm keen to hear feedback on your experiences.
