Posted By Joe Scotting
Hauliers can expect disruption at the Port of Calais for 24 hours from 11pm UK time tonight, 6 June, as a result of planned industrial action by a French port union.
Dunkirk services
DFDS says that departures between Dover and Dunkirk should not be affected by industrial action and reminds customers that advance check-in and Fast Lane services are available.
Eurotunnel services
The Eurotunnel will be open. However, it is expected that service is going to be in high demand due to the industrial action in French ports.
Upcoming disruption
There will be four hours of work stoppage between 9am and 3pm on 10, 12, 14, 18, 20, 24, 26 and 28 June.
Additionally, on 13, 21 and 25 June there will be twenty-four hour walk outs disrupting services further.
