The guide explains the responsibilities and systems involved in keeping vehicles in a roadworthy condition.

The updated guide covers:

daily checks and inspections

inspection and repair facilities

regular safety inspections

responsibilities for roadworthiness

monitoring

The updated guide reflects new standards in maintaining commercial vehicles such as the ban on tyres ten years or older.
