Operations Manager - Scotland & Northern Ireland
Brian has spent over 30 years in the road haulage and logistics sector starting as a lorry driver. His career has included roles as Transport Manager, Dangerous Goods Safety Adviser and he has run his own training company. With the RHA since 2008 Brian started as the Training Manager for Scotland & Northern Ireland and has delivered and developed many of the courses available to TTF candidates.
Training Manager - Scotland
Billy has spent over 40 years in the automotive, haulage and logistics sectors as a lorry driver, vehicle sales and lease specialist, LGV trainer and Transport Compliance Manager. Billy joined the RHA in 2016 as the Training Manager for Scotland and teaches Transport Manager, DGSA, DCPC and Trainer Courses. Billy is responsible for the development of TTF candidates and their familiarisation training in the haulage sector.
Area Manager - Scotland
Louise has an extensive career in the commercial vehicle sales and rental markets. An accomplished manager and trainer Louise has used her staff managment and HR Compliance skills to good effect with various blue chip companies. As the RHA's newest recruit Louise is responsible for member engagement and employment, TTF candidate placement and follow up.
Senior Course Coordinator
Chelsea started with the RHA as an apprentice in 2013 and has taken on roles since then in the training and regional membership departments. Chelsea is a qualified Transport Manager, First Aider and DCPC Trainer as well as the ISO 9001 lead for the RHA in Scotland. Chelsea is responsible for the placement of candidates on the correct training courses and monitoring their development as well as ensuring that the training is conducted to RHA standards.
Policy Adviser - Scotland & NI
Chris has been with the RHA since 2011 where he started as the office administrator. Chris's current role involves the collation and dissemination of policy information and compliance to the management and membership. A qualified Transport Manager, Chris is involved extensively with the Scotland and NI apprenticeship levy and new driver training schemes and provides TTF candidate support and placement within the haulage and logistics sector.
Business Unit Administrator
Amanda has been with the RHA since 2016 and is responsible for the efficient running of our back office functions. A fountain of knowledge in all things customer service Amanda delivers customer care and telephone skills training to our staff and customers. Amanda is the TTF fund administrator who ensures that all candidates are correctly allocated and receive the correct funding for their course.
Director - Business Unit North
Martin has been with the RHA since 2014 and heads up the business unit that Scotland and Northern Ireland is part of. Martin pulls together the various resources open to the Scottish office from our sister site in Bradford that enable us to deliver extended benefits to our members and customers.
Robert has been with the RHA for over 12 years and previously held roles within the oil & gas distribution sector. Robert is the go to guy for all things haulage in Scotland & NI, and provides help to a huge cross section of the haulage community on such subjects as driver’s hours, tachographs, employment, operator licensing and the environment.
Alistair has been with the RHA for over 12 years and held roles as an auditor and printer previously. Alistair is responsible for membership retention and communication bringing together the membership needs and the various reporting functions required to enable us to source employment opportunities.
